Every bet on Spunk.bet uses a provably fair system. Before each game, we generate a seed that determines the outcome. You can verify any bet after it's played.
1. Before the game: A random server seed is generated and its SHA-256 hash is shown to you. This commits us to the outcome before you bet.
2. You play: Your client seed (generated from your session) is combined with the server seed to produce the game result.
3. After the game: The raw server seed is revealed. You can hash it yourself to verify it matches the hash shown before the game.
The game result is derived from: HMAC-SHA256(serverSeed, clientSeed + nonce). The first 8 hex characters are converted to a number between 0 and 1, which maps to the game outcome (coin side, dice roll, mine positions, crash point).
